You read it in the Connecticut Post! Charter Revision!
(Full Article Click Here)

"The spring season will be a hot one in Stratford, although that shouldn't necessarily be the case.

"To their credit, the Republican majority of the Stratford Town Council, joined by one brave Democratic member, created a Charter Revision Commission to examine possible reforms and refinements to the town's two-year-old charter."

"That's why it was so encouraging to see Democratic Councilman Gavin Forrester join the council's six Republicans to support charter revision and permit a "super-majority" vote that Mayor James R. Miron could not veto. Forrester served as chairman of the Charter Revision Commission that created Stratford's new government. Expect, however, a torrid spring in Stratford after the nine-member charter revision panel is chosen and begins its work."
