Stratford Tries to Revive
Longbrook Park
The Connecticut Post
reported in their July 1 Edition the revival plan for Longbrook Park.
Town Councilman Gavin Forrester, D-3, chairman
of the Longbrook Park Commission in co-operation with the
Friends of Longbrook Park completed a cleanup back in April.
"We knew right from the start it
was a massive undertaking because previous councils and
administrations had ignored the problems for so long," said
Forrester. "Even routine maintenance is not easy because of
constant, destructive vandalism and littering, and cuts to the
Public Works Department." "But
now, Forrester said there is hope."
